Detroit native, Sylvia Hubbard, a single mother of three, has worked tirelessly to promote and encourage emerging writers in Michigan. She independently published her first romance novel in 2000 and has continued to write in that genre, sometimes venturing into other subgenres. Always urban and contemporary styled, her writing is enjoyed all over the world. She has published 6 paperbacks and over 30 e-books. The same year she published, Ms Hubbard also created Motown Writers Network to fill the lack of education and networking for Michigan authors online and offline. I like all the Heart stories, but this is the best one so far. Story line at first is a little unbelievable, but the author sucks you in as usual and you can't put the book down. Keep the Heart stories coming I plan to read all of them. This story was well worth the money. It's not a short story. I would of been happy if I paid ten dollars for it. Ms. Hubbard I'm waiting for Pari's story.

When will Sylvia disappoint...never. I wasn't going to read this book because I'm not interested in pimps and prostitutes but I needed a Sylvia fix and this was the only book I haven't read via kindle so I did it. If there was a way to get Ms. Hubbard to publish once a month I would!

I really enjoyed this book! It was packed full of suspense, thrill, love, hot off the page sparks and romance. I loved the chemistry between Devlin and Tanner. It did frustrate me in parts, as I just couldn't understand why Devlin had to play games and not tell his family the real situation between him and Tanner. I loved that although he was inexperienced, Devlin caught on very, very quickly and graduated to become even better than his teacher! He became a deliciously, brooding alpha male in every sense.

I would have given this book a stunning 5 stars, but with the amount of typos contained within this book, it wouldn't be fair. At one point I even thought I'd give it 3 stars due to the amount of typos. I would like to put it out there that I would even offer myself to help with proof reading your work, Ms Hubbard....FOR FREE, because I hate to see such a good piece of work being overshadowed by typos. There were even a couple of inconsistencies I spotted!

If it wasn't for the grammical mistakes, gross misspelling, I would give this book a five but after you keep having to reread a sentence or paragragh trying to figure out what she trying to say, man you are exhausted and just want to give her a two or three hoping it will get better but you know it wont because you have literally read most of her books, because she has some of the greatest ideas, and to date to me this was one of the best if you like Sylvia hubbard you will love this book the only twists is trying to figure out sometimes what she really wants to say!
