    I'd heard about the book & was looking for just the right book for my great granddaughter who is a year old. I liked the preview I read. I ordered it & it came sooner than I expected which was good because it was a X-Mas present & worried that it was coming down to the wire. Once I received the book & read it I was a little surprised about the story. It was told so well & although she wouldn't understand yet, the artwork was wonderful & she loved the bright colors & loves to be read to. The subject matter is sad but presented in a way that even I as an adult felt better about it because the author told the story in a way that I know she will see it in a positive way as she gets older. And that's the best part...it is a book she'll enjoy having for many years. I hope the author comes out with another children's book.
