5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully crafted series of short stories - READ THESE!
Verified PurchaseA great series of short stories from a talented and skilled author. Each story is different, and each has it's own tone. Wonderful writing from Mr. Snyder. I was sorry to finish the series - they were totally entertaining. It's nice to see craftsmanship, skill and a great use of language to set a tone/mood work so well together.
A BIG thumbs up to James Snyder. I'll be looking for more of his work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Collection
Verified PurchaseUnique sampling from a unique period. One sensed looking over the author's shoulder at events more significant than the matter-of-fact way the characters relayed them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well written, a good read
Verified PurchaseThis is a collection of stories, each one unique and fascinating. So developed was each, I found it delightful as if I had a number of short books. It was a very satisfying read. The language is clean and there is no untoward violence but all are adult themed.
