    As amazing as books 1-5 were and as different (in a good way) as what book 6 was, THIS was indescribably incredible! So beautifully written and such another original story line; actually numerous story lines that all run parallel. I just cannot get over how deep these characters are and how much I have fallen in love with them all.

    I just cannot wait for book 8!

    As always, another great installment. Nicola always gives us what we are looking for and more. Lucinda and the gang are no longer in Auckland. They are now staying in London and she is having a hard time adjusting to London. Not only is she having a hard time with living there, but Michel is gone thee days at a time. And that is also affecting a lot of her emotions. With her being in a new city, she has to introduce herself to the Master of the city. Which she didn’t do at first, and it was a challenge seeing this Master of the city because he looks so much like her trainer Nero. And not to mention that he is very interested in her for some reason.

    Everyone wants a piece of Lucinda. Let’s start with the Faries. My, my, my, Lutin was very convinced that Lucinda was pregnant. And even with his last breath, he want to know how the baby was. I’m not for sure if she is carrying his child, but I think she is caring someone’s child. And I say that because Michel’s Vampire was very and still is very protected over her. And even more now that they thought she was pregnant. Then the dragon (Sebastian) even recognized that she was pregnant. I guess we will see in the next installment.
    Then you have to Iunctio. This group here is something else. Well maybe the Champion is something else. She thinks it’s Lucinda fault because the power between her and Avery is weakening. But Lucinda is determined to fight for what is right and that includes the city and her family. And what happens at the end with the Champion and Michel has left my mouth open. I am so ready to read the next installment!!

    Oh and not to for get about the Dark King. And I wonder if we will here from the light Feye since we know what happened to Lutin, he mother might have an appearance. This is going to be interesting in the next book.

    I'm so glad I found this series! Each book gets better, more complex and making me more eager to reach the end...and start the next. I'm eager to read the crossover series, too, so I can better understand one of the characters.

    I found book one on the free book list and downloaded just for something to read, by the end of the first chapter I was hooked and proceeded to read all 7 books in just over a week! I cannot wait for the next instalment of a gripping, well written series. The depth of the characters is amazing and the twists and turns of the plot keep you gripped from start to finish.

    Although I can see that book 8 will be the final chapter in Lucinda and Michel's story, part of me hopes that there would be a book 9 as following their story is compulsive!
