By profession, I'm a Lawyer and Corporate Consultant and spend a lot of time flying. I did not become a pilot, but I have had a passion for airplanes since my childhood, when I visited Congonhas Airport many times, in the middle of the largest city in Latin America, São Paulo, which at that time was a territory dominated by the Boeing 727. In 1998, I let my love for the plane flow in the creation of the '727 Datacenter' website, which despite being only in Portuguese, became very well known in the world. I first wrote books on Law, as author and co-author, in the early 2000s, but only with the sad stop caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, which prevented me from traveling, I had free time to complete the project of a Boeing 727 book, but the rich story of the trijet could not be adequately told in just 100, 200, or even 300 pages.
Thus was born the idea of generating the work in 2 volumes, with an average of 365 pages each. But, when wanting to detail each of the 1,832 trijets built, the need arose to create a page for each plane and so, 4 other volumes. This originated the Encyclopedia 727 with 2,640 pages. Interestingly, in a world so full of books on a topic as popular as aviation, this is the first time an aircraft has won an entire, multi-volume encyclopedia.
I'm still a Lawyer & Business Consultant, but now also a writer on Commercial Aviation and my favorite jet. Long live the Boeing 727!
