All proceeds are donated to the NGO International Rescue Committee (IRC).

    Mirjam writes poems and stories. She says her body is German, her heart is Spanish and her words are mostly English. She swims in lakes year-round, hosts writing workshops and book clubs. Her poems have been published in numerous poetry anthologies and online journals.

    "Cold Water Poems" published in January of 2024 was her first individual collection. In "Warm Water Poems" published in September of 2024 she invites you to read poems about warmer water and about completing the challenge of swimming in 24 different bodies of water in 2024

    She is co-editor of "Facing Goodbye - a poetry anthology" published by The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press in July 2024. The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press is an indie publisher which creates poetry anthologies and digital zines. 100% of the proceeds from sales of our anthologies is donated to charity.

    A lovely collection of insights on the experience of letting go by some 90 poets from across the globe. It's a surprisingly light read for such a potentially laden subject. Well done, Wee Sparrows. Another invaluable and timely anthology that brings us all together in perhaps one of the most common of experiences.
