Holly Bargo is a pseudonym for the author, but she really did exist. The original Holly was an elegant and temperamental Appaloosa mare with loads of character. That Holly has long since crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is remembered fondly.

The author herself really does exist, too. Unlike many authors, Holly writes her own books; she doesn't hire ghostwriters. Holly lives in southwest Ohio on a small hobby farm with her husband and a small menagerie of furred and feathered beasties.

    I have thoroughly enjoyed this final book of this series, all four have been exciting, holding my attention throughout. They are terrific stories of love and mafia battles,to keep their families safe. A really great series.

    So in love with this series. There are quite a few parts where I felt Inesa's character just didn't measure up to a Bratva princess. Manny of the mob guys on either side were so talkative and over stepping the rules of things. However, Magliones Giovanni made everything much better with his cousins. I enjoyed the love story of Inesa and Gio. From her horrible marriage to Ruslan that left her near death after he beat her, to her new found love and husband Gio. Again these stories have some horrible abuse and maltreatment of female characters. These characters just seem to move on with little damage. Wish it wasn't written as so.
