First Gods Community: Second book in the First Gods science fiction fantasy series Kindle Edition
The Guild manages and strictly regulates interstellar and intergalactic travel in the early universe. The First Gods science fiction fantasy series is the story of how and why the Guild was created. The woman that created it became the most powerful person in the early universe.
The catastrophe from Book One (First Gods: Awaken) in the First Gods science fiction fantasy series spreads to another planetary system and another time.
A single alien, Renn, arrives on a world in the early universe. He has an unwelcome guest in his head; a powerful AI that needs to take control of the world for its own survival. But the alien AI meets resistance from an unlikely source, a community of AI each more powerful than itself.
Taking control of an alien world is not straightforward when the response will destroy everyone.
Renn tries to stop the destruction he was forced to begin. He receives sympathetic assistance from a young, smart woman who isn’t scared that he’s an alien. But being alien is difficult for both of them as they combine to save her world from the alien AI’s attack and from a defence that would leave everyone dead.
This is the second book in a series of five.
Each book is self contained but each subsequent book follows the story as repercussions from Awaken (Book One) spread throughout the early universe and its civilisations.
Science fiction fantasy is about alien worlds and civilisations with uniquely structured societies. The laws of physics still hold but may be tweaked and there is advanced technology.

About the author

Hi. I write science fiction fantasy stories. My First Gods series is the story of the first technological race in the early universe and the problems they had that required the formation of the Guild - an organisation that manages and strictly regulates interstellar and intergalactic travel.
Science fiction fantasy is a bit of both science fiction and fantasy. The laws of physics still apply but may be tweaked (in my case it's instantaneous space travel and time travel) and there's advanced technology (which may include biotechnology).
I have a Masters degree in Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics and I spent many years working in software design and creation. Both of those skills are handy when my stories are about science and about artificial intelligence. I have an interest in understanding consciousness (no one does, yet) and especially what this means for Artificial General Intelligence. All my stories have an AI (or more) in there somewhere.
I have two adult children and devote too much of my time to strenuous physical activities such as: strength training, running, swimming, as well as ocean water sports – wing foiling, SUP, and surfing. But the active time is a great counterbalance to the hours spent staring at a screen making up stories.
