5.0 out of 5 stars T. S. Galindo writes eight interesting science fiction tales with THE INSTITUTE Stolen Case File
Verified PurchaseIn THE INSTITUTE Stolen Case Files, the reader faces eight different stories that are from the future. I like the premise of the story, and if you read the book description, the use of the word redacted appears, making the reader wonder, how secret and restricted these documents are. As a reader, it's not just the story, it is how you decide what you want to be when you're reading it. There is information, some redacted about robots, extinction plans, and other topics that all lead back to The Institute. I haven't read anything by this author before, and what a hidden gem. I enjoyed it so much, that I have now followed the author and look for more books to read. This author has a grand imagination, and talent for showing the story. I can imagine being someone, sneaking into The Institute and finding these files, and realizing that what is written is true, but no one wants you to know about them, and if you get caught, who knows where you will end up. A definite attention grabber, so much I couldn't put it down. Each story was both thrilling and intriguing, all the way to the end. Gripping and Incredible storylines, and how they all lead to one place. THE INSTITUTE Stolen Case Files is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews recommends that anyone who reads this book, to also write a review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Please write the accompanying novel!
Verified PurchaseCalling all Sci-fi/curious & adjacent fans. This book is such a treat. It’s a little bit of dark, sci-fi satire, a collection of thoughtful stories based around a mysterious organization that has significant influence in the world that Galindo carefully crafts. With some grim moments, his storytelling, while incredibly unique, communicates a strong message of hope despite it all. I cannot wait for the novel that takes a deeper dive into this world (hopeful request).
It left me wanting more by the end, but in my case, a little bit too much more. I like getting a little bit more answers and a little bit more of the puzzle pieces really fitting together - I can, however, see that happening with a follow up book!

Verified PurchaseWith in depth imagination, the author has created centered around what’s known as The Institute. Written as transcribed and revised accounts of events, each short story provides a unique picture of this center for human scientific advancements. I also like the notes that follow each story.
Cool collection of very well written stories! Highly recommend if you like science fiction.
