Mord McGhee, an acclaimed author of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and literary fiction, hails from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As one of the pioneering writers in the cyberpunk genre since the early 1980s, he has made a significant impact on the literary world. Mord served as a board member of Rowayat dot org (Canada), and as an associate editor for both Ariel Publishing and Parsec SFF.

His upcoming books include THE SEVEN CHILDREN OF GOD, JONNY, and HOLY WATER. He has authored several traditionally published works, including THE STROKE OF OARS (2023 Nat1 Pub LLC, USA), IRONBLOOD (2023 Golden Storyline Books, London UK), and MIND POKER (2024 Audience Askew USA), as well as small press titles MURDER RED INK, the GHOSTS series, and OLD FLAMES AND HEROES (TSP USA) and (Rezcircle Books).

Mord is also the associate executive producer for the upcoming feature films MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE, starring Morgan Freeman and Ed Norton, and THE MAN IN THE WHITE VAN, starring Sean Astin and Ali Larter. He is diligently working to pre-produce a screen adaptation of the historical drama, IRONBLOOD. As a former columnist for the legendary HORROR WITHIN magazine, he has edited various anthologies and earned an Honorable Mention in L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future. He is also a nominee for the 2024 Maya Angelou Book Award for works impacting social justice and a Bram Stoker Award nominee as part of SERIAL ENCOUNTERS anthology.

On a personal note, Mord is passionate about collecting fossils and supporting charities, including those aiding the homeless, promoting equality, and raising awareness for stroke and organ transplant. He is a creative content contributor for the Pelican Pod Travel Vlog and YouTube, focusing on Disney World and North Myrtle Beach travel vlogging. Additionally, he is a rustic woodworker, a season ticket holder for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, a student and teacher of history, and an occasional MMORPG player on LOTRO, Meridian 59, The Secret World, Red Dead Online, and Age of Conan: Unchained.
