Not Enough Space: A Nat 1 Anthology Kindle Edition
Immerse yourself in tales of wizard apprentices abducted by aliens, disgruntled fairy godmothers, and various attempts to survive the end of the world. Each narrative offers a unique twist on the science fiction and fantasy genres, promising to make you laugh (or at least roll your eyes) as they explore the theme of not having enough space. Except, of course, for those deviants who decided to do whatever the hell they wanted… You try making characters do what they’re supposed to!
Featuring a lineup of unacclaimed and emerging authors, Not Enough Space invites you to journey through worlds where magic meets mayhem, and the final frontier is just a punchline away. Whether you're a die-hard fan of the genre or a newcomer looking for a good laugh, this anthology is the perfect escape from reality.*

About the authors
Award-winning, Pushcart-nominated writer Maia Brown-Jackson is a symphony of papercuts, banged-up knees, and stubborn determination. She believes in the altruism of strangers, the power of direct action, and the Oxford comma. Her work has taken her everywhere from art galleries and museums to a nonproliferation nonprofit to the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction.
Her poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction have been published in such journals, magazines, and anthologies as Across the Margin, Anti-Heroin Chic, Bi Women Quarterly, Fantasy and Science Fiction Magazine, La Piccioletta Barca, Maudlin House, Prime Number Magazine, and others. Her debut poetry collection, And My Blood Sang, was published by Tim Saunders Publications in 2023.
Her second collection, Gifted, is due to open for pre-orders this autumn with Nymeria Publishing. In her spare time, she volunteers with a Yazidi NGO, accidentally starts learning quantum physics when she looks up the qualities of neutrinos for a poem, and plays with the world's sweetest, clumsiest cat.
A lifelong lover of all things Sci-Fi/Fantasy, B.S. Roberts (he/him) devotes his time to the genre by reading, watching, listening to, and creating everything that he possibly can in the genre. He prefers stories that include less-represented characters not cut out from the same mold and strives to create works representing all walks of life.
He has a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with minors in history and behavioral studies, a master’s in Intradisciplinary Studies focusing on folklore and ethnography, and a graduate certificate in digital curation.
To break up the time, he also paints with both oils and acrylics, draws with pencil and Sharpie, and dabbles in photography. When not indulging in magic, futuristic technology, or the arts, he makes a living as a museum curator and an administrative assistant at the University of Maine at Augusta. When schedules allow, he plays pen and paper RPGs and board games.
He has short stories and poetry published in various magazines and literary journals online and in print, including From the Depths, In Parentheses, antiLang, What Rough Beast, and more.
B.S. Roberts lives in Maine with his wife, daughter, tortoise, silver pheasants, and cats. You can check out his current and upcoming projects by visiting him at www.BSRoberts.com
