    I have most of Gordon's and Cynthia's books from LightSpeed Spanish, he is a great storyteller [this is his story] and this book is also fun to read, not sure what is the best way to use it! But I read the English first and now I am practicing my spoken Spanish, it is also helping with my vocabulary, as there are lots of words that I don't know. Plus what Gordon says in English cannot be directly translated into Spanish [again very helpful] I am trying to read it most days and I am enjoying it, looking forward to the next one.

    If you have seen Cynthia and Gordon's podcasts then you know Gordon's style and the book is just that. Interesting story especially if you know a little of Morocco and it's people. I was able to read a lot but when unsure looked to the translation on the left hand page.
    May help if the level of Spanish required to read the book was listed. Have nearly finished reading the book and look forward to next being published.

    I have just finished reading this book & i have so enjoyed it, can not wait for El Camino a México. I read the Spanish text throughout but was so intrigued with the story i found myself quickly glancing at the parrarell text in English.
    So whilst i am waiting for the next book i am going to read it again & check my learning.

    Highly entertaining and in a funny sort of way addictive The translation is sometimes tricky as not word for word but it is parallel text.Lots of great subjunctive practice from the king of the subjunctive!Looking forward to the next one!!
