I've been following the series, even had a chat with Ed online about it, really enjoyed the concept, but THIS one is totally weak...
there is nothing at all in it... it's just a poor scene from the French revolution with the word "wizards" sprinkled a few times.
Being born and partly raised in Europe might make me biased, but seriously, refund please.
I WILL buy the rest of the series, and I apologize for the lone star, but I really think that both the author, editors, and whoever gave the GO for this book need to get a grip for the remaining volumes, because this book was not worth the dollars.
And I say all this as a huge Greenwood and D&D literature fan in general.
Please never publish such a weak thing again, because if it had been one of the first 3 volumes, I would have given up and deleted everything from my Kindle.
Sorry to be blunt, but IMHO the series dropped from a 4,5 stars to a subzero if there was such a rating available.
No plot, no character building, no emotional investment possible, just a monologue about a dude who went terrorist out of the blue.
I failed to gain ANYthing from reading this chapter.
