I absolutely love this book. There is no introduction, so you have to understand who Mary Winslow is before you begin reading, and there are other books, written by her son, Octavius Winslow, that capture more of her bio. But, for 99 cents, it couldn't be beat, and the treasures I pulled from her writing were priceless. She certainly learned how to walk with Jesus, and that's what every Christian should be looking for, isn't it? A lot of it can be said to be repetitious, as the book is really just excerpts from her writings, mostly written in the form of letters to loved ones, but the wisdom gleaned is well worth the price of the book -- I would have paid more just for some of her encouragement, especially if you are going through some suffering and trials. Beautiful words from a lady long dead, but rightly remembered as one who walks with Jesus now.
