If you just bought a car with an internal combustion engine, it'll be the last one you buy...

It also exposes the myths around electric vehicles, their viability, their effect on our environment and their potential in averting climate disaster.
Whether you are sceptical about man-made climate change and are a dedicated petrolhead, or are a card-carrying environmentalist and already drive an EV, this book will open your eyes and your mind.
ELECTRIC REVOLUTION is essential reading for anybody interested in uncovering the reality of the most critical issue facing mankind today.

5つ星のうち5.0 Balanced view of not just electric cars but moving to net zero
フォーマット: ペーパーバックAmazonで購入As someone who is deliberating about whether to go electric for my next car, I found this a very timely and informative read. It is written in plain, non-technical terms and yet goes into a great depth of detail and was clearly very well researched. As we are all becoming increasingly aware of the impact of climate change, I recommend this book for giving a balanced view of not just electric cars but how we can move to net zero overall.

5つ星のうち5.0 Insightful and provoking! Will definitely challenge your thinking around Electric Vehicles.
フォーマット: ペーパーバックAmazonで購入This book presents clear and well researched analysis of the main elements surrounding the switch to electric vehicles. While the author is clearly passionate about the benefits of EV mobility, he doesn't shy away from the negative perceptions of EVs and convincingly explains how the opportunity afforded by this change represents a real chance to effect a positive change in the world's climate.
Highly recommended if you want to understand the detail behind the headlines and differentiate between the facts and the deliberate misinformation around EVs.

5つ星のうち4.0 Fascinating book, just needs some better editing
フォーマット: Kindle版 (電子書籍)Amazonで購入I already own an electric car and thought I knew quite a bit about them, but this book opened my eyes to a lot of new things that I either wasn't aware of or hadn't considered. Despite the fact that Aidan assures us he is not paid by Tesla in any way, he is clearly a big fan and reading this book I understood why. In fact, despite having ordered a new electric car from another manufacturer, I went and tested a Tesla this weekend to check if I hadn't made a mistake, such were the insights I picked up from the book. It also reassured me that for all the doubters I hear out there, we will get through this electric revolution and the day when we can run on the streets of a major UK city and not worry about all the pollution we are breathing in from the diesel cars is going to be a reality, not just a (tail)pipe dream.
I marked the book down one star for all the typos and for the endless lines like "...but more of that in the next chapter" or, ...."I'll talk more about that later in book". At one point I nearly hurled the book across the room in frustration at reading it for the third time in the space of half an hour. Please don't assume we all have the attention span of a gnat or that we want to be treated like ADHD sufferers watching reality TV on a commercial station who need to be told what excitement lies the other side of the ad break.
Otherwise a very insightful book that deserves too reach a wider audience, but will likely appeal mostly to those intrigued by the world of EV's or those still sitting on the fence about taking the plunge on their first EV car.
