    I purchased this book last year with book 1. I didn't intend to read them until all 3 came out. I'm so glad I waited. There's no way I could of waited nearly a year for the final instalment of this story..

    These books hooked, line and sunk me. An emotional roller coaster.

    We start with book one were Laurelyn and her best friend Addison are heading towards Addie's brothers place in Australia for a 3 month trip.
    Only this trip has another course in mind for the pair of best friends.
    Addison meets the man of her dreams before they have even reached the apartment, while Laurelyn feels like she has been set up with her best-friends brother. But her true course has other plans.
    Lo and behold Jack Henry. He offers L. 3 months of the best time of her life, no questions, no names. Just the best 3 months of her life. They go there separate ways at the end. Neither knowing the other persons name.
    Unfortunately the path to true love never happens this way and they find out stuff about each other that they never expected. And true to form. They fall in love.
    With his true love finally gone how will Jack Henry manage....

    We continue the story from Laurelyn and Jack Henry.

    We find out at the end of book one, that Laurelyn left, unable to stay as she loved a man she fought never loved her back. Little did she know Jack Henry was on his way to plead her to stay and tell her he loved her.

    This book carries on with the roller coaster of Jacks past. His previous life style continues to haunt there new start in life. Both of there past bring up horrible issue for both of them. When they finally get some happiness something else seems to happen.

    Thank fully we end in a HEA and the author Georgia Cates gives you the option of purchasing book 3 or leaving it here.

    Personally I would read book 3 it is highly recommended.....

    I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel and I am glad that my wait to find out what happened Between Jack and Laurelynn is over!! I was totally hooked to the first book and when it ended it was a bit of a NOOOO you cannot leave it there so as always its a relief to have read the second book.

    I love Jack and was delighted with his course of action throughout this book, I have to say that I felt the L was a little less of the tough chick she had been in the first book but I think it is understandable when you learn more about her. I love how she expresses herself through music as I think so many people feel the same whether you play it or listen to it, music helps figure stuff out.

    I would love for a spin off book about Addison as her whole persona strikes me as very funny and entertaining so fingers crossed on that one.

    All in all a very enjoyable sequel! :)

    I have read A LOT of erotic/romance novels, 50 shades, bared to you series, temptation series, on dublin street to name a few all of which are fab but the beauty series really stood out for me among them all.

    I was drawn to the very yummy Mr McLachlan from the word go, what more could you want in a man?!? Money, fantastic in the bedroom department, independant, romantic.. ahh melt! I loved the connection between him and Laurelyn and the storyline was gripping, a real page turner. The sex scenes are quite steamy and my only criticism is that they were a little repeatative, the same thing happened everytime they had sex.. it would have been good to see it spiced up a little sometimes like 50 shades with the tie! All in all a fantastic read with the ending leaving you lingering for more. There's definitely room for a 3rd book to be written to see what the future holds for Laurelyn and Jack and without giving too much away, to see if the crazy lady from Jack's past can get any more crazy.

The story had enough drama to make it gut-wrenching but not so much that it was annoying. I would love to see this story continue and am glad to see that there is a third part coming....can't wait!!!

    This is the sequel to Beauty from Pain, which I LOVED! Do NOT read the first paragraph or the rest of the review for that matter IF you have NOT read the first book, Beauty from Pain, as it would provide spoilers. But there are no spoilers for Beauty from Surrender, as there is nothing in this review that has not already been presented in the book description or 'snip-its' about the book.

    Laurelyn had told Jack that she loved him & he didn't say a word. So she walked away from Jack just as she had originally agreed to do three months prior, but she did it a day earlier than he expected. Jack realizes that he made a mistake not telling Laurelyn that he loves her too so he rushes home from work to pour out his heart and ask her to stay in Australia, but all that he finds is a goodbye note. Well that shouldn't be a problem, right? He can just hop a plane to America and bring her back...uh nope, because this is a major complication since one of his rules included real names are kept under wraps.

    This is where Beauty from Surrender picks up - right where Beauty from Pain ended...so in this continuation of their love story, Jack utilizes his connections and wealth to locate Laurelyn, but it is not an easy or quick task. When he finally finds her months later, she has finally started to be recognized as a talented artist in the music industry and is a rising star. Laurelyn's catapulting career was the only thing that provided her any happiness as she has been dealing with the excruciating heartache of losing Jack. Now that Jack has found her and professed his undying love, she must decide whether she is willing to give up the career she has worked so hard to achieve, move to Australia and take a chance with Jack, especially considering how their `non-relationship' relationship began.

    The plot and fundamental struggle in this sequel is more about Laurelyn making the decision whether or not to sacrifice her lifelong dreams for love without any guarantees of a happy ending. The characters are very well developed and I connected to their story. Both Laurelyn & Jack remain honest about their feelings without wavering and for the most part there are not other obstacles in their way besides Laurelyn's career. The writing is typical Georgia Cates as it engages the reader from beginning to end. So what will Laurelyn decide? No spoilers here. I will tell you there is a resolution and no cliffhanger...although the author has promised a third book, she recognized the fact that readers wanted a real ending and they were given one!
