INNOCENT GIRLS: They are worth more (Mason Cooper Book 3) Kindle Edition
Mason Cooper Trilogy, book 3.
A hard hitting Thriller. Powerful, gritty, dark, and disturbing.
When Natasha Caraman’s twelve-year-old sister, Katerina, vanishes from a local beauty spot she remembers the threats made against her family and fears the worst.
Natasha knows first hand how evil the criminal gangs that trade in girls can be. But she is about to discover new depths to their depravity.
And they are about to find out that Natasha is no longer a helpless victim. But as she cuts a swathe across Europe, and right through their organisation, she realises she will need help, and there is only one man she can trust.
Meanwhile, can young Katerina thaw the icy cold heart of the gangs most prolific kidnapper and avoid every victim's fate?
A fast paced thriller, battling the dark side, and dispensing justice, Natasha Caraman and Mason Cooper style.
Although this could be read as a standalone thriller, it is book three of a trilogy, therefore readers will enjoy this book better if they start with book 1, TAKING NATASHA, and book 2, THE SCARLET CLUB, and follow Natasha’s journey from helpless victim to vigilante and Mason Cooper’s from newly retired cop to enforcer of instant justice.
"Don't start a Mason Cooper thriller unless you have time to finish it. Because they are hard to put down."

About the author

Terence Mitford served for 30 years as a UK police officer. His varied career included time on CID, and time in charge of a dept dealing with serious sexual offences, domestic violence, and child abuse.
He was a police self defence instructor and martial artist.
He planned to write novels from an early age and a few years after retiring from the force he took on the challenge.
"I love to sit behind my key board, create some characters and let them loose. The plot unfolds naturally and organically as the characters evolve. It's important to me to inject a gritty authenticity to the story and bring the characters to life through interior dialogue. I have so many ideas and books inside me, it's frustrating that I cannot get them all out at once."
If you enjoy Terence's books, his gritty writing style, and the fast moving plots, then rest assured, there will be many more to come.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 March 2021Another good one. Episode three in this excellent series.
This is a very hard hitting story with a lot of x certificate stuff. It highlights how evil, the people who make their money from trafficking really are.
At the end of the last book called The Scarlet Club. Natasha Caraman, returned home to Moldova.
No sooner has she arrived. When it was confirmed, that her younger sister Katerina, had been taken by traffickers. Is this part of a revenge, in respect of the actions that Natasha, with former police officer Mason Cooper took?
It is now a very different Natasha, compared to the one that arrived in London a mere six weeks ago. She is more than a handful for any bad guy. A good bond has been formed with Alison. The journalist, who made a brief appearance in the first book called Taking Natasha. The pair of them go off to find Katerina.
Or will Natasha have to call on Mason Cooper? The man who she has shared so much with.
Have Mason and his wife Kathy managed to save their marriage? Also what has happened to their daughter Rosie. Has she been able to overcome her ordeal at the Scarlet Club?
On the version, I had I found the odd typo error. It did not spoil my enjoyment, I hope it does not yours.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 September 2024These 3 books in this series have been a great read and sadly the stuff about trafficking is what really goes off in the world and there is terrible monsters out there. But I highly recommend reading these books
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 June 2020This was the explosive end to the trilogy and I was unsure when I first started to read how the book was going to continue, however let me say I was not disappointed in the slightest.
The story continued drawing me in to the extent I realised at the end I had read the set within 2 days. It was fast paced, explosive with twists I had not forseen, and I feel handled the difficult things about human trafficking sensitively.
If there's a trilogy I feel you should read then for definite Mr Mitford has exposed the dark seedy underbelly of human trafficking in all of its forms and these books will enlighten you. I eagerly await more books from this author.
Plus he's a man of his word, I emailed him as he had mentioned he replys to all emails expecting the standard blurb back and received instead a long email back from Mr Mitford himself.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 July 2023Excellent trilogy. Please can we have more of Mason and Natasha. I really couldn't put the book down, very exciting and action packed.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 June 2021A series whjch needed to be written, these 3 novels expose the human trafficking trade. Girls from across Eastern Europe are offered jobs in London only to find themselves in the hands of criminal gangs, forced to work in brothels.
Unfortunately, the books need a good proof reader as they slip around in tense and mood, while the reader often has to guess the word that the author intended to use
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2021I really enjoyed this book indeed the whole series it is a shocking story and a relevant insight into real life occurrences I hope this story will be continued I would love to hear more from Natasha and Mason.

Una trilogía que me dio a conocer el lado oscuro de la vida para muchas mujeres, su impotencia y condena a ser esclavas del sexo.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another great book in the Mason Cooper series
It was good to revisit this series. Mason and Natasha are back and the rapport between them intensifies as again they pursue human traffickers after Natasha’s twelve year old sister, Katerina, is taken by people traffickers in revenge for Natasha’s escape.
As with the previous books in this series, the pursuit is gripping and at times gruesome. It highlights even more of the depravity of the trade which treats innocent girls as commodities.
I look forward to further books from this author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful
I just read the three book by T. Mitford, and he has caught my attention. He had written about a subject that is really going on in this World. It's a well written book. He writes as if you don't know what is going on next door to you. We don't realize how much human trafficking is really going on today. 150 years ago it was from Africa, now it's happening in every country. It is not just for sex. Now it is happening for anyone who has money and wants cheap labor. Please always be on the lookout for anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Call the police.
The way he writes about this subject makes you feel uncomfortable (at least with me). He is going to be a good author. I will definitely be looking out for any of his books. Thank you Terence Mitford.

I enjoyed all three of the books in this series. He writes from his experience and it’s obvious. Attention to detail draws you into their lives.
