Who Killed Douglas Heimer?

Was the killer his daughter? Did she get angry enough to kill when she discovered that her boyfriend and her father had done the naughty together? Or maybe she was just after the money.

Was it his maid/mistress, Ann Stevens Granger. Had she had enough of their rough sex or was he about to fire her and replace her with someone new? Or maybe she was after the gold he had brought with him from Savannah, Georgia.

For obvious reasons, was it his wife?

Did the husband of Ann Stevens Granger kill him for causing him to become estranged from his wife? And also there was the matter of the missing gold.

Did a bad business deal from the past result in his murder? Oscar DeLoach not only did not sell his business to Douglas Heimer as had been planned but Douglas Heimer caused Oscar DeLoach to have sex with three men while Oscar's fiance Mildred Williams watched. Though Oscar's relationship with Mildred ended, they each still longed for each other and hated the man who had ended their marital plans.

Did Quigley Sooner kill him after Quigley tried to blackmail him but the attempted blackmail backfired.
