Dead Ringer (The Gunsmith Book 101) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 25 ratings

Wanted for bank robbery, kidnap, and murder: the Gunsmith!

Some low-down snake's stolen Clint Adams' identity—copied his walk and practiced his quick hand with a gun. And the villainous impostor looks a damn sight like Clint.

He wants to tear down the Gunsmith's reputation for honesty and fair play... and make sure his name stands with the most hated outlaws in the West.

But the murderous varmint doesn't just want to destroy Clint's good name. He also aims to see Clint dead—brought to "justice" by a posse, strung up by a lynch mob, or gunned down in a showdown between the real and the fake!

I have been writing stories about Clint Adams, The Gunsmith, since 1981. The books are now being published in several different formats--both reprint and new--including mass market paperback, trade paperback, and ebook, from Berkley Books, Speaking Volumes, and Piccadilly Publishing. Check them all out!

Although I must apologize to readers as some of the new Gunsmiths, starting with #400, have been appearing with too many typos and grammatical error. Working with new publishers and new editors, it takes time to get things right, but I assure you, steps are being taken to correct the errors and make sure they don't continue. Thank you for your patience.
