I enjoyed this short science fiction tale but it was confusing to me. Short stories are an art that must be very difficult to write. They don't often get a proper beginning, middle and ending. They may be well written but leave the reader ultimately unsatisfied. I didn't fully understand this likely because the concept is too complex for a short story, it needed to be novelette length to flesh it out to a cognizant story. Still, I give this credit for solid science fiction chops.

I liked the story. The first two characters introduced were reasonably well developed for their brief appearance. The remainder of the story moved well but parts simply were not edited. It's a convoluted first contact that presents an alternative to what we perceive as our history. A nice short that deserves better editing.

I enjoyed the book, however it is far to short. I feel that there is a definite opportunity to expand the story into a full lengthy book,I would definitely buy it.
