    This book is a wonderful blend of practical information and mystical insight. There is so much good advice and magical guidance in each chapter that the reader gains not only the powerful spells and techniques for manifesting their goals, but also the counsel of an incredibly learned High Priestess (Laurie Cabot has been a practicing Witch for over 60 years), thus helping to avoid any potential errors or pitfalls in magical practice.

    Keep in mind that this is predominantly a spell book as opposed to a more religious tome, though Deity magic is discussed. This is a book of practical magic; my favorite kind.

    Though some of the ingredients may be difficult to obtain, the recipes and formulas alone that are included in this book make it well worth owning.

    Having been a practicing Witch for over 20 years myself, I found this book to be both a strong reinforcement of Witchcraft as I learned and practice it, but also taught me some new things as well.

    I highly recommend this book to anyone that wishes to learn rich and evocative magic and also wants to have that magic firmly grounded in reality.
