Preston Dennett began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated a wide variety of paranormal phenomena. He is a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a ghost hunter, a paranormal researcher, and the author of 29 books and more than 100 articles on UFOs and the paranormal. His articles have appeared in numerous magazines including Fate, Atlantis Rising, MUFON UFO Journal, Nexus, Paranormal Magazine, UFO Magazine, Mysteries Magazine, Ufologist and others. His writing has been translated into several different languages including German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Icelandic. He has appeared on numerous radio and television programs, including Coast-to-Coast and the History Channel’s Deep Sea UFOs and UFO Hunters. His research has been presented in the LA Times, the LA Daily News, the Dallas Morning News and other newspapers. He has taught classes on various paranormal subjects and lectures across the United States.

In addition to writing true non-fiction books about UFOs and the paranormal, Preston Dennett is also an award-winning science fiction writer. He has sold 40 speculative fiction stories to such markets as Andromeda Spaceways, Bards & Sages, Cast of Wonders, Daily Science Fiction, Grievous Angel, Perihelion, Sci-Phi Journal, Stupefying Stories, T. Gene Davis's Speculative Blog and many others, including several anthologies. After earning twelve honorable mentions, he won Second Place in Quarter 1, 2018 of the Writers of the Future Contest. He currently resides in southern California.

Jamie Lackey lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and their cats. She enjoys reading, writing, tabletop role playing games, video games, watching anime, baking, hiking, and mushroom hunting.

She has over 160 short fiction credits, and her short stories have appeared in places like Daily Science Fiction, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Apex Magazine, Escape Pod, and Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show. Her fiction has appeared on the Best Horror of the Year Honorable Mention and Tangent Online Recommended Reading Lists, and she's a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.

Her longer works include two novellas, Moving Forward: A Novella of Life After Zombies and The Forest God, as well as her debut novel, Left Hand Gods. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2006 with a degree in Creative Writing. She studied under James Gunn at the Center for the Study of Science Fiction's Writer's Workshop in 2010 and has taken various workshops with Cat Rambo.

She read submissions for the Hugo-winning Clarkesworld Magazine for five years and was an assistant editor for the Hugo-winning Electric Velocipede from 2012-2013. She served as editor for Triangulation: Lost Voices in 2015 and Triangulation: Beneath the Surface in 2016.

Derrick Boden's fiction has appeared in Lightspeed, Clarkesworld, Analog, and elsewhere. He was a finalist for the 2023 Sturgeon Award. Derrick is a writer, a software developer, an adventurer, and a graduate of the Clarion West class of 2019. He currently calls Boston his home, although he's lived in fourteen cities spanning four continents. He is owned by two cats and one iron-willed daughter.

Brad Preslar writes from Nashville, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife Ellie and their dog Stella (named for his wife's favorite cider.)

He wrote unique selling propositions and concepts for ten years at ad agencies before going freelance to devote more time to writing fiction. Brad grew up in Winston-Salem, NC where he studied Communication at Wake Forest University. He also received a MFA in film production from the University of Miami.

Steve Toase was born in North Yorkshire, England, and now live in the Franconian Forest in Germany.

His fiction has appeared in Nightmare Magazine, Shadows & Tall Trees 8, Analog – Science Fiction and Fact, Three Lobed Burning Eye, Shimmer, and Lackington’s amongst others. Five of his stories have been reprinted in Ellen Datlow’s Best Horror of the Year series, and one in Paula Guran's Year's Best Dark Fantasy and Horror 3.

His debut short story collection ‘To Drown in Dark Water’ is now out from Undertow Publications.

As well as fiction, he has been published at Tor.com and in Back Street Heroes Custom Motorbike Magazine, 100% Biker, Kerrang Magazine, and Imperica Magazine. He also writes regularly for Fortean Times and Folklore Thursday.

From 2014 he worked with Becky Cherriman and Imove on Haunt, the Saboteur Award shortlisted project inspired by his own teenage experiences, about Harrogate’s haunting presence in the lives of people experiencing homelessness in the town.

He recently worked with astrophysicist Dr Chris Harrison on a script for a planetarium show designed for people with a vision impairment.
