Carissa Shae, half-elf/half-human apothecary, has been through two harrowing events this year.     I have read this book, sync with the audible version and was amazed. The narrator did an excellent job.! The series is getting better. Astoria Wright wrote in a way that you feel you are part of Moss Hill, one of the Mossies perhaps. The ending is unpredictable! I feel more attached as I progress reading the series. It’s like Harry Potter for grown ups. Excited now to read book 3 😊
