Ryan is an internationally acclaimed theorist on the science of fiction.     A highly anticipated read! I devoured this book, staying up late in the night to finish it because it was just that interesting, quirky, funny, suspenseful and heartwarming! When I reviewed Pickpocketing, I wrote about how it often made me ugly cry for Kuro because it was so heartwrenching at times. I cried several times during this read as well, but only because it's so good, and my heart aches for Kuro, hopes for him and roots for him. I really hope Mr. Consell will continue writing Kuro's story, I just can't wait to find out how he gets on in High School!
