Hi all.

Just wondered if there was any way to advertise your Kindle book on Ebay - it would hit a huge audience - but how you would do it ?

Ebay has a strict policy about utilizing their site to sell off another. If you list anything about another site in your listings you get banned. I sell artwork and listed a site that hosts my photos, which also sells art, and they gave me a warning.

You could list your book for sale on eBay as a Buy-it-Now option and price it about 25% Higher than the price on Amazon

This would "advertize" the book, and if you do sell any you get 100% of the Inflated price!

Use Paypal and you could email back copies of the AZW that you get from the @Free.Kindle.Com conversion!

I have been considering this.

While it is true that you cannot download stuff from eBay...you do not have to mail them a disc as the poster above me stated. You could email them a pdf.

Or the AZW...

Also eBay probably will not allow you to post a hyperlink, but in the description you may mention that the book may be previewed at amazon.com....

Just wondered if there was any way to advertise your Kindle book on Ebay

This is an interesting topic. Thanks for bringing it up.

I admit that I hadn't thought of selling my books through eBay, but someone else has. After reading the post I went to eBay and searched on my name and book titles. I found someone in the UK selling the new print book I just set up on CreateSpace. The cost is three times what it would cost to buy in the US, so I doubt they'll find many takers. They must have automated software that offers everything available through Amazon in print form.
