I have just finished some in-dept tests of the Kindle DX image sizes, and have posted the results on my blog. If you are planning to make books that are specifically designed with the DX in mind, you definitely need to read this post. I also talk at length about some issues in Mobipocket Creator, mobigen, and the DTP upload system that [i]will[/i] break any DX-optimized book not created in a specific way.

Thanks, Joshua. For those of us too lazy to click through, have you addressed the problem of how you publish with the DX in mind while still having the thang legible on the Kindle and Kindle 2?
