I know there used to be an option to choose color printing but I don't see it now at CreateSpace.
I've done a book in the past where you ticked an area to do 'color'.
Does anyone know the trick over there to make it kick in?
Putting things thru with color JPEGs did not work.

Did you perchance select a weird trim size (accidentally)?

Nope - standard 6 x 9 PDF manuscript uploaded containing color views inserted.
No option for color has shown in a while, per other books where I was doing standard B&W.

Strange. The trim size table still shows color options:

Yep but they have removed the area to chose which you want.
I have a message out to customer service so hopefully I'll get a reply by tomorrow.

You might ask on the CS community forum. I've gotten good answers there, and quickly.

I got it fixed. Apparently I overlooked the area for the option first time around .... Life!

Don't feel bad. Every time I do a CreateSpace cover, there's something that I forget to do and I have to fiddle with things until I can go on to the next step. Also, I think there's at least one web page where the button you have to push is off the bottom of the screen, and you have to scroll to get it.

I suppose if we published a new paperback every week, we wouldn't forget.

This is also the reason why doing annual taxes is so, well, taxing. You have to practically re-learn everything again (though you do have a good "cheat" by using the previous year's return as a guide).
