How do you get a copy of your own book without purchasing it?

Ebook or print? For print, there's no way to get a copy without paying for it. With CS, you pay production cost plus shipping; with KDP Print Beta, you must order from Amazon.

For ebooks, I think you can download the preview from your Dashboard. I upload fully formatted ePub files, so that is a complete copy of the ebook.

How do you get a copy of your own book without purchasing it?

If you are published by a Big Five or even Little Fifty company, you will get maybe ten copies upon publications.

There are other benefits, too, like getting into bookstores and libraries.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)
