Just realized I placed this post under General instead of Formatting. Not sure how to move it so will re-post under Formatting...

I have a print cover (5x8) where color goes to the edges. Do I set the bleed options just for the cover (which is uploaded separately) or for the interior as well?

Thanks!

I believe when they say bleed, they are talking about the interior pages.

So if I have only text on the interior pages, I should ignore this? The picture/color on the cover will automatically go to the edges?

All covers bleed (and you must include the bleed in your cover file). Whether the interior should include bleed or not is up to you. If the interior is all text, then no, it shouldn't include bleed.
