I see that some books on the Amazon "Search Inside" feature show books with clear page breaks. My books show page breaks on Mobi but do not show any page breaks in the Amazon "Search Inside" feature. How is this done? (Hope it's an easy fix).
Thanks to all for your help.

I don't think the "Search inside" feature shows page breaks. It only provides a quick glance at the book, not necessarily for reading it. I've never seen what would look like a page break during the search inside feature, but they are there when read on a kindle, or kindle software.

Really, some books do have page breaks. Check this one (it's not mine):

Whoops! I could be wrong. That was a preview of the print book. I guess you might be right after all.

I don't think Search Inside co-exists with Look Inside. They are different things with different results. Search Inside shows a page from a PDF file; Look Inside shows the first 10 percent of the book's text, and everything runs together without a break. It's better if you click the arrows to page through, but I suspect most people do as I do and just scroll down.

Look Inside is probably the most valuable sales tool at our disposal. Might be worth a bit of experimenting to get the best results there. But I have no idea how to force a page break on it.

A page break, you will find in MSword. Use the insert tab and you can set your page breaks to help format you book.
