Can someone please explain about the 15 tags. Can you place them in your book? Is so, where? I thought we could only use the seven tags offered while in the publishing stage. Thanks, Kathy

The only tags I know about are on your product page after the book is published, so not sure I understand your question.

On one of the threads it mentioned using 15 allowable tags. I believe the thread was 'My book free for four days' Not 100% sure that is it. I tried checking some of the tags below my book on the product page. It said something to the fact that it was irrelevent and to uncheck to remove it. I probably was not doing it right. Thanks, Kathy

If you scroll down on your product page, you will find a place where anyone (including YOU) can add whatever tags you deem relevant. It's important to put these in, use any words or phrases that you think someone might use when searching for a book like yours.

I would ignore the suggested tags, I don't know who comes up with them but they rarely describe the book.

anyone who visits your page has the option to assign their own tags or agree with any/all of yours. the more people who agree with your tags, the stronger it is in the search engine.

I might add that the tags work like keywords in the search engines.

the more "Hits' you "Gets" the higher your book floats in the search line...

if you get 5 or 6 and the field isn't to very big, you end up number one!

even if the field is vampires, 6 hits will put you in the top 10!

these can be very powerful tools to get spotted

tag your book get your friends to tag also

Thanks! I went to the product page and hit tt and it came up. I added my tags and hit save. It does not show the tags I added. Are they hidden? Did I do it wrong? Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Kathy

Here's the link to your product page.
http://www.amazon.com/Leppy-The-Leprechaun-ebook/dp/B007HCWURK/

There were no tags showing. Did you forget to save your tags? I added leprechaun using the tt shortcut and it worked fine. I did not add any more since I didn't know what you wanted.

If you still have trouble, post here what you want and i will add them for you.

I added your tags to the US site - see if you can see them now, if so, click on them to "agree" with them, it'll give them more oomph
