Just this morning I received five or six emails about KDP payments. They don't ALWAYS come, but they usually do, and about this time of the month.
As Donna says, your sales are shown in the month-to-date report under the Reports tab above. We get paid sixty days after the end of the month. So those emails I got refer to October sales, and the money will be in my bank account probably on Dec 24 or 26, because Amazon usually tries to pay early in December to avoid the risk of paying in one tax year but having the author receive the money in the next year -- a peculiarity of the US tax system combined with two national holidays.
(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook. Each does one thing well and the other thing poorly.)
Good day. Is it alright if that I am enrolled in KDP Select Enrollment? or better not? I'm wondering because it might just be like the free promotion I engaged in with, which I recently cancelled because it has 3 copies given freely but not actually sold, so I guess no income earned, and it's not profitable. I am thinking if it has the same case with being enrolled in KDP Select Enrlmt.?
When you enroll in Select, you get paid by pages read. So if a person borrows your book but never reads a page, you won't get money. If they read through your book though, you get paid per page they read. A book with 494 KENP pages earns $2.29 roughly. You can find the KENP total for your book in the KDP Bookshelf KDP Select Info option (use the ... button to choose this).
