I run all my AMS from the 1st of each month until the end of the month.
Looking at newer figures on the AMS chart, sales are NOT being reported.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I assume the problems that have been are still there.
Just another way for the Zon to fleece us. They are doing everything possible to increase AMS ad spend, while simultaneously doing everything possible to minimize the $$$ they actually pay out in KU. It used to be confined to legitimate tactics only. Now, they are simply ripping people off. Between rank-stripping people who run promotions and the completely fake AMS performance numbers, this thing has become an outright scam.
Select on my intro book expires on 19 January. When that happens, I am going wide.
I don't know if they were ever accurate. Recently, I began seeing paperback sales showing up under the Sponsored Product campaigns, but there is no way that all the Kindle sales are properly linked to the campaigns. Also, up until August if a reader purchased all the books in the series at once by the single click option, they were all tagged as a sale to the campaign when only the advertised book in the series should have been tagged. AMS has fixed that and issued thousands of dollars in credit for the mistake of over estimating sales, but they have yet to get the sales link 100%, or maybe even 75%, to the campaigns. I was told by AMS Support that a sale can take up to three weeks to appear on the campaign, and if it takes that long I'm sure there are many that never show up.
