Hello,
If anyone has read my two collections of short stories, as a new writer I would appreciate any feedback...I've a thick skin and any advice is welcome.
The little books of five short stories each are at

http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Cats-Whiskers-ebook/dp/B007BMY2T0/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1333483406&sr=1-1

and

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Herding-Cats-ebook/dp/B007IE4O62/ref=sr_1_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1333483406&sr=1-2

Their pages are at the two links above

Thank you,
Chrsi Gibson

I can't buy them, as I'm in the US; but what I found on clicking "Look Inside" was very impressive, indeed. Your stories are beautifully written and crafted. I wish I could curl up with my good ol' tabby, Itzhak, and enjoy all of them.

My only quibble would be with your cover; the text is far too small, at least in the thumbnail image. You need to take better advantage of the available space. At the very least I'd suggest having a professional designer take a look at it to see how it might be improved.

What's under the cover is excellent, but you need to convince potential readers to open the book so they can find that out for themselves. Your cover needs to convey some hint about what's inside (yes, the cat picture helps some, but ought to be bigger). At the same time, the cover should telegraph the most basic facts about the book; the title and the author's name.

Good luck and all success!
