Interesting. I thought the yellow one ended up being too bright visually.

I think it's nice and stands out better. But it's all subjective.

last question: do you work at print resolution?

Of course man ... all my work is vector (as in 100% scalable) where it's not photos and when working with photos I'll obviously use the highest resolution I can get from istock or whatever because it makes sense when designing to work with a nice large size - so you have more control ... you might want to give me some definitive answer on the aspect ratio though - like what size to height you want ... as in do you want it to look more like a book cover - or wider as some people put there's on Amazon
