If you're in the mood of a really funny book with a political twist. You might like SPill: Big Oil + Sex = Game On in which fired English teacher scams the political system, gets the girl, the money and a killer skateboard computer game. http://www.amazon.com/SPILL-ebook/dp/B005MRA588/ref=sr_1_7?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1316031857&sr=1-7

"Original story"? I am doomed...everything I do is derivative. But sincere.

Quoting Randy Jackson "You made it your own, dog."

Just finished the excerpt for SPILL and love it so far. Not a fantasy, but I think that one will be next anyway. It reminds me a little of Mark Helprin's satirical stuff.

My novella "Half-Inch" is free until midnight tonight. It's relatively short, but I've been told it's a tightly-written, intense read. If you enjoy it, perhaps a review?

This is a raw and real true story and is definitely not fantasy, but if you're looking for something different then this might be good to try. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

I don't understand why the previewer does what it does...but again, worst I've seen is a Kindle "reprint" of a book. I would love to know what mobipocket glitch converted quotes to carats.

And of course the us copyright office upload ate my cover JPG, resulting in a phone call from the LoC about "I see you have a photo credit here....where is it?" But then I uploaded that from dial-up the first time!

You might want to browse the Independent Author Network--there are lots of good authors on there, and the pages link to Amazon for their books.

Greetings! Here's a romantic suspense that's as popular with men as with women!

"Operation Neurosurgeon: You never know ... who's in the OR": http://amzn.to/dwy9S1. This is a modern romantic suspense - 260 page paperback, approx. 76,000 words. It received a perfect 5 STARS from Red Adept Reviews for characters:

Who says a rising neurosurgeon can't fall from his pinnacle? From the skullduggery taking place deep in the Tennessee woods to the silent tension in the OR, Doctor Danny Tilson's life takes an abrupt turn after performing surgery alongside a scrub nurse with aqua eyes and a velvet voice.

Can Danny's situation get any worse after the alluring lady disappears, he inherits her roguish retriever, and his Albert Einstein historical book turns up missing? A pack of Tennessee attorneys pursue Danny while he develops a scheme with his paramedic best friend to payback the mysterious woman who left in a hurry.
