Just to be clear, when you say you couldn't get the second show to play on your computer - do you mean the download? We're you listening live to know I mentioned you? Or does it play the On Deman video OK, just not the iTunes download. Thanks for clarifying.

Hello

This short story: Bittersweet Memories, was previously published as Dubai London, the return ticket - the impossible love.

As per the reviews received in amazon US and UK:

"It is the story of a Christian woman from the UK and a Muslim man from Dubai who fall in love during college. Forbidden love, at its finest. Heartbreaking, and eye-opening, as we often forget that the freedoms we take for granted every day are not enjoyed everywhere."

"This is a short story on a familar theme: a woman and a man who fall in love but whose cultures and families prevent them from remaining together. Unlike so many such stories, neither gives up their culture for the other, and there is no suicide or tragic death. Both remain true to themselves and to their families, but they do not betray their love: each faces up to the dilemma as best as they can. The author shows how each does this differently, allowing each to speak for themselves, and presents their point of view clearly and sympathetically, without any judgement."

"The ending is philosophical as it shows how easy it is to become invisible or have parallel lives being covered with a veil."

"This is a story that could happen to any of us or to our children when they go to university, whether in year 2011 or year 3011. I think it should be turned into a movie so that it can reach a wider audience."

"It is a useful look at freedom and what this might really mean."

"My impression from the author was that it was written to bring to life, something that is happening way too often. "

Ringing the Liberty Bell by Bert Nemcik

When Leo Pollack, an unemployed steel worker, stands in the unemployment line and sees people applying for benefits, he is struck by the waste of people power. He knows this is not the American Dream. Inspired to make a difference, he leaps up on a counter top and makes a passionate speech and declares he is running for the Presidency. The novel follows the campaign from inception to the final moments of the 2012 election when Leo's bid for the presidency hangs in the balance.

This is a historical work of fiction describing the genesis of a viable third party that can effectively compete for power and expand the two party system. This book is a training manual for a future third party candidate like Leo Pollack. Comparing the two, there is very little difference between the Republicans and Democrats. Special interests finance them. Their policies do not benefit the vast majority of middle class Americans or the working poor. Historically, the middle classes' power peaked in the 1960s and has been on the decline ever since. In order to restore the middle class to prominence, a third party candidate will have to emerge and lead the movement forward into an American Renaissance. In my lifetime, I hope to see this happen. Writing this book is my way of serving as a catalyst for this event to occur.

I hope that some young man or woman will read this book and undertake a run for the presidency. Whoever and wherever you are right now, we are with you. When you run for office, we will back you all the way to the White House. America's middle class is waiting for you. Lead us into a new age of American democratic idealism!

Ring the Liberty Bell!

Hey - the link doesn't work - I'd love to hear it. I've got 2 minute opening for music - if it suits, then I could pitch your song - reminding people that it's not just words that can be 'self published.' - but it stays on the recorded show forever, so - you'd need to give me royalty free rights for the unlimited plays on that one show. But I want to hear it first - please fix the link.

Free May 2nd;

A wealth of scientific evidence exists, as well as several commercially available products that suggest we are rapidly heading down the road to being able to read human thought as well as digitally map events (sight, sound, smell, actions) to the human experience.

Excerpts |

“When I vocalize I love you Lace.. Really I mean your entirety will forever be a part of my entirety.. and my mind, soul and cons. The vocalization (soul) also does not compute for Lace, but she nods as Hope touches her face again and again till the water forming in her visi overflows.

“My Hapi is my guide. It will bring me closer to bliss if I do not resist it. Through my Hapi I serv the Greater Hapi. And in our Greater Hapi our peace is guaranteed. All Awareness before Hapi was more mindWoe than ease. And I never want to realize those years again.”

I honestly stumbled upon your Blogtalk show today and really liked the open, breezy feel of it. I thank you so very much for the 5 minute plug that I got to do off-the-cuff on my writing. I like your emphasis on ebooks and thanks again.
