For the love of Murphy, could you guys please give us an update on what the devil is wrong right now? We've all received the canned responses. How about the real thing?

Hello? Is anybody home?

Please?

I am having the same exact problem all of you are having. "Publishing" for going on three days now. Whydoineedanick, I think you have it right. It sounds to me like maybe no one moderates these forum questions. Where is the author's customer service? Where can we get the real answer as to what is going on?

Hello; I've had that happen, then I recieved a message from KDP asking me to prove that the book actually belonged to me. I proved it, then they published. it took about a week.
That's the first time my book was publishing for more than 24 hours.

This has NOTHING to do with proving ownership of books. This is a widespread systemic problem that they're unwilling to discuss.

Anyone else curious as to why the May Select Fund hasn't been announced yet?

On my dashboard it says the May Select Fund is $600,000.

I don't know why they aren't discussing it but my husband is a software architect for a huge company and when something major goes wrong they are all either working on it or in meetings talking about what they're doing to work on it - I have some sympathy for the technical team who may not yet know exactly what is going on.

I've had another email saying they need more time and are looking into the issue I reported. I'm using the time to work on my next book. :)
