I've just published my first Kindle book (Shortcuts for Windows PCs) and Amazon completely eliminated the Title Page and the next page -- the one that says this book is copyrighted by me, with contact information. I've written and published eight printed editions of my primary book (Winning with the News Media) and was told that the copyright, ISBN, etc. were very important to protect my rights to the content. Why would Amazon trash all that info?
they haven't trashed it, the book opens automatically
at the first page of the text, skipping the front
matter. if you press back it's there
Duh! I'm new to this Kindle thing, viewing with Kindle for PCs. When I opened my newly purchased book, it popped open at the Preface section. Didn't occur to me that it would start at the first page that was part of the Table of Contents. Thanks for turning on the light.
