For the last two days my book shelf has been empty...how many other people are having this problem? I think I saw one other person but i can no longer find that thread. Someone mentioned that maybe 'logging on with the wrong account is the answer'......Well not for me because i only have one account.
Amazon has always been pretty good at getting back to answer me when I have had issues. But not on this one. I suspect they are swamped in overload dealing with someother glitches. I hope they get to this one soon because I have absolutely no access to my books as it stands.
So how many people have empty bookshelves? Just curious!
Phew thought it was just me!!!mine is empty (two days now) and I cant do a thing even go to KDP Select. I wanted to amend a chapter before I did another promo. If you have the same then it must be a 'KINDLE PROBLEM' - I wonder if this effecting our sales?
All mine shows as a heading is Introducing KDP Select...select all etc and nothing happens. I have e-mailed Kindle and so far no response.
Lets keep together on this one...its raining yet again..have a nice day 'Shelleydog' May 6th.
Another forum found that it looks like a browser problem.
I am able to access my bookshelf on Mozilla Firefox browser.
Simply searched for "Mozilla Firefox" on Google and went to the firefox website,
downloaded for free and installed on my computer and
typed in the "https://kdp.amazon.com/self-publishing/signin/ and
and I can see my bookshelf.
Fine..it is the not ability to scroll down..is still the same..KDP replied and said they could get me up fine but I still cant. I am not a computer wizzard and just have a old Sonny Vio FX605 and to my knowledge have not used firefox before. If I download would this cause me a problem...Thank Shelleydog
I stopped using IE over a year ago due to the fact I couldn't upload cover images any longer when adding new titles.
I switched to Chrome and haven't had a problem since. I did try Firefox prior to that, and had nothing but issues. For one, about every three days, it would dump all my favorites so that I had to re-import them.
Which wasn't that big of a deal, until it somehow 'emptied' my favorites file. 0_o
Then scrolling disappeared, and it started doing wacky things like re-sizing text on every new window, or logging me out of sites when I clicked on in-site links. Enough was enough.
On the other hand, my HH uses Firefox and swears by it. We have the same O/S installed, so I don't know why there would be such a difference in user experience. He even checked my settings, uninstalled and re-installed it, and yet the same errors kept occurring for me. shrug
Hello, It appears there must be a problem there for others to have the same...Cant scroll down at all. I currently have Amazon looking into it. It is a problem as I want to do a KDP Select and also amend a chapter in my book..cant do anything. I dont think it is our problem. My Reports - community work just Bookshelf nothing...perhpas more reports to Kindle would make them aware it is a problem for them to sort...Good luck Shelleydog
