Hi,

I hope I'm in the right place.

I'm finalising my first kindle and have run into a snag. In 'Building your book for Kindle' there is a section on inserting a bookmark.

The first step is straightforward enough -'highlight the table of contents, then I should click on the Insert tab. I cannot find it.

Help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

The location of the various tools available in Word will vary quite a bit from year to year.

For instance, I have Word 2003 (P C) and the Insert drop-down menu is on the very top line. Sometimes on drop-down menus, there is a little down arrow that you have to click at the bottom of the abbreviated window that will show ALL of the options as the abbreviated window will only show ones that you have used recently.

I hope this helps.

Thanks JT,

Your advice pointed me in the right direction.

I use 2007 and in it it goes Home / Insert tab / Links / Bookmark. A bit different.

Very grateful to you.

Aitch.
