Big problem with tags

Twice over recent weeks and months, I've written to amazon about erroneous tags on the amazon.com site for one of my books, Meggie Blackthorn. I've told them which tags should be there, but they've done nothing. These erroneous tags all had 2 ticks against them saying two people agreed with them.

Now, I've just gone onto the page for that book and I have downvoted all those tags, but there is still one tick in each box that I cannot downvote.

Would anyone who HAS read the book please go to the page and downvote these silly fantasy tags (there is no fantasy whatsoever in the book), to see if these tags disappear. Then maybe I can add the correct ones, which are: 1960s, adventure, crime, secrets, drama, rock n roll, family, newcastle-uk,

Please....

Hey, thought that title rang a bell!! :) We beta-read one another's, last year.

I don't think there is anything you can do about tags other than tell people which tags to use. Just remember next time to "fill up" your tagging box so people can't add their own.

Which tags do you want?

Hi Lousie

Yes, we did. Hope it's going well for you.

1960s, adventure, crime, secrets, drama, rock n roll, family, newcastle-uk,

There are also some taggers who are rival authors who want to piggyback off your titles. Just uncheck what you don't like. If the problem persists, just tell Amazon. I've had people add their names to my listings, or others did, without my knowledge. If their work does not relate I just uncheck them.

Tags downvoted. Looks like there's still demons left.
