I've never seen that. Did you reconfirm your digital
rights and click on the Publish icon?
Are you using Internet Explorer 8? It has "issues"
(as the children say) with the DTP.
Yes, I selected worldwide rights, 70% royalty, clicked the confirm all necessary rights checkbox, and hit save and publish. The book then became live again in 48 hours. So, there doesn't seem to be any problems there.
I'm seeing the same thing. What the heck is going
on? I did everything I was supposed to. Am I going
to get the 70% or what?
i still have this issue, but my reports are saying I'm getting 70% for the sales since last week. have you seen any new sales in your reports? maybe it's just a cosmetic or reporting issue they haven't cleaned up yet. i hope it's just that.
I can't tell with this new reporting system. For the "Week ending 7/3/10" I sold one of the books that is eligible for the 70% royalty...however, I don't know if it was sold before 6/30 or not. And the reporting for the current week doesn't show me a royalty rate. It just shows me that I have sold 2 of the books eligible for the 70% royalty rate...but not whether it's 35% or 70%. Can you see your royalty rate for this week anywhere? If so, let me know, because I'm not finding a report that shows that. I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering about this!
I emailed DTP too, and I haven't heard anything yet either. I don't know why they decided to launch a completely new layout of the system simultaneously with the 70% royalty rate. It's like Amazon wanted us all confused. If you hear anything, post it here. I'll do the same.
I'm not showing any dollar figure for sales in the reports for 07/03 to 07/06. Also not showing the percentage on royalties. Is this incorrect and I should be emailing DTP? If I'm not getting 70% I need to raise the prices on my books again.
vicki - the day-to-day report before it rolls into being a weekly report doesn't show those numbers. If you look under weekly now and had anything live at the new price to be eligible for the 70% you should see something there.
