My book has been "Live" since yesterday. But none of my links are working, and no one can find my book. It is very frustrating b/c I have buyers lined up through marketing, and nothing! I've sent several emails to CS, with an obvious "we'll get back with you response". So far, still not working this morning. Is this normal, am I just being impatient, or is there really a server error? Please and thanks so much.

If this is your first book, it's not unusual to take up to a week for all the servers to get updated with your new account data. 'Live' usually means that the people who do the work of preparing your work have done everything required. Then everyone just has to wait until the system processes everything properly.

If you can find your book using the ASIN they assigned, and the page looks good, you can give that to people who want to buy your book until the system let you access the page by author name or book title. I know that it's difficult to wait for a first book, but you just have to be patient sometimes.

If your book is 'live' on your bookshelf, then you should be able to find it using the assigned ASIN. A common mistake people make is to use the letter 'O' where it should be a zero (0). The second and third characters are almost always a zero.

I tried by the ASIN, but nothin'! Here is the number, can you help me see what I am doing wrong? Does it just go in the regular Amazon search bar? Sorry for the 20 ?, first time caller, long time writer.....ha!

I didn't find anything with that number. Try this: Go to your Bookshelf, and check the box to the far left on the line where that number appears. Then go up to the 'Action' rolldown down menu and click on 'See book in US store'. In fact, try to see it in all the Kindle stores.

I tried that too, no dice, lol. I swear I've tried it all. And so has my following. It's def nerve-wracking!

If you're getting that message from the bookshelf link on a line where it says the book is 'Live,' then I would guess there really is an error in the system. All you can do now is wait for Amazon to sort it out. Since you've notified them, I'm sure they're working on it. If you don't hear back within 5 days, tickle them with another note that you still can't open your 'Live' book's page. I know it's frustrating, but it's comforting that Amazon has one of the better service departments. Just be glad this didn't happen at B&N. I've still never heard from them re the note I sent their service people a year and a half ago.

Same thing happened to me. Almost: my book is found by amazon.com, but not by amazon.it or other amazon stores. Funny thing is, it used to be findable initially, and made some sales. But now it's gone :-(

How do I contact KDP customer service?

I have clicked on every conceivable link that is available. Authors page, email links, typed in the ASIN, by author, title, subtitle, and any of the .com links provided. :)

Has this been resolved yet?

My book went live just a few hours ago, and it is now available on the Amazon stores except for the .com one.

I'm getting the same error message.
