KDP admin- will someone PLEASE advise the community as to when the "scheduled maintenance" of reports will be finished? For HOURS now it has said it will be back "very soon."
Most of us are assuming it's not a scheduled maintenance due to the time of day and the length of the outage. The entire community would likely appreciate some type of update with an ETA of things being back to usable.
I agree, I am concerned that my sales throughout the day will not be accurately calculated based on the issues Amazon is having. Obviously it is a huge issue that they are not able to fix or reports would have been rectified or we would have received word on what is going on and WHEN we will be able to view our sales again.
Three of my reviews yesterday disappeared and never returned. My guess was that, a neighbor, and the two people who live with her, all bought my book, on seperate credit cards, but afterwards to help me out, all placed a review but out of the same computer and IP address. Apparently Amazon didn't like it, even though, again, all three were verified purchases and made on separate credit cards... seems like too much of coincidence that those were the reviews that disappeared.
I'm thinking there is a HUGE problem at Amazon right now with the system being down so long, and sales, in my opinion, probably have a ver good chance of not showing up at all. Hopefully that's not the case.
Just so everyone knows, my reports are back up but I not only didn't make ONE sale today (after weeks of consistent sales) I lost approximately fifty sales from my totals I calculated yesterday! I hope this issue is rectified soon, how many sales are we really losing??
