Most of the best left these forums and now reside at members only Neverland. Diamondlifestyle (Kate) was great as was Andreathomas. In the past, authors asked for help in writing their blurbs. They did not ask for the best person to come forth. Ask to have a group effort to rewrite your blurb and many will answer until your blurb is fine tuned. Bob Thomas is also good at blurbs.

There is a regular around here who has written a book about writing blurbs.
It's called "Blurb-O-Matic How To Write To Sell" by Ken Bodnar
It might be worth checking it out.

Thom is good,

Get your readers to identify with your main character in the blurb, you basically have one chance to GRAB their attention. Make it short and sweet.

That would be me. There is an art and science to writing a blurb. In a general sense, you have to deliver on premise and promise. But you also have to incorporate 4 other elements. You have 5 seconds to catch a buyer, and my book has helped many authors on this forum. http://www.amazon.com/Blurb-O-Matic-How-Write-Sell-ebook/dp/B00AW4G2L0

You should be able to right your own jacket copy based on what the book is about. You simply want to draw your audience into wanting to read it based on a short description. You must pique the reader's curiousity with great words, concise writing, all without giving away too much. If you can write a novel, you should be able to write jacket copy.

Golem2b was the best. He left the forum about a month ago. Haven't seen any of the new people even give it a try.

I'm certainly not the best but have had a little success with my own. What is the book about? I'd certainly look at offering assistance.

Hi Chad, I gather that saxon21 is a bestselling author and it wouldn't do any harm to have him look at it.
You might also want to check out Ken Bordnar's book as many indies speak very highly of it.
Whatever you do, all the best with your writing and sales.
