I suspect this question should be asked on some Kindle Users forum but since I don't participate in one and new forums scare me and I'm tired and...well, anyway, I thought maybe one of you might humor me since I don't make a habit of posting off-topic questions.

When I go to Manage My Kindle, all the books except for one of my own books has READ NOW in the ACTIONS button, which allows me to open the book on my PC. I've used the feature many times on Google Chrome. I decided it might be a browser issue, although I don't know why it would affect only one book. But I opened IE anyway -- and not one single book of the fifteen or so I looked at had READ NOW as an option.

This is actually sort of vaguely on-topic because I like to use READ NOW to verify that purchasers who read on their PCs get a well-formatted book. Is there some rational explanation why READ NOW it isn't showing up at all on IE and isn't showing up on one particular book on Chrome? Some setting I need to reset? Some magic word I need to use? Some incense I should have burning in the room?

Read Now is the Cloud Reader. Evidently there's a formatting problem in your book; see the thread on that topic posted just now.

If you go to your book page, you will probably see that it's not available for Cloud.

My apologies to everyone for the duplication. This is the first post I made on this subject. After it didn't show up in twenty-four hours or so, I rewrote it (didn't keep a copy) and posted it under the heading Cloud Reader Not Working, or words to that effect. I put it in Formatting, which is more appropriate. That one took at least twelve hours to show up. I'll try to be more patient in the future.
