Gifting a book in the USA Site is pretty straightforward...

It gets tricky on other sites because it is not "Push Button Simple."

As long as you know the Giftee's email address, everything is smooth sailing.

What if the Email address is not the person's OFFICIAL Email address?

I mean, what if the person's spouse is the owner of the email that amazon uses?

Can the Gift email be forwarded?

Will it still work??

The gift email can go anywhere, in my experience. My daughter has a bunch of email addresses, as do I, and we give each other books all the time.

The gift "certificate" arrives. Then the recipient logs in and uses the code to claim the gift.

Note that you can have the "certificate" sent to you, in which case you have the code and can send it to the recipient any time you like, and with whatever language.

Good luck! -- NJ
