After months of proofing, editing some of my work I thought that I was finally ready to re-lease my latest book. However, a friend of mine advised me to first order a paperback copy and go through the whole book once or twice again. Well, that's what I did and to my horror, I must have found at least 50 more errors!
I don't know why, but when you are reading something on paper for some reason the mistakes just seem to stick more that when you are reading it on a screen.
so everyone take my advise and that of many others and down load a printed version you will be surprised at what you will find.
It is certainly true that mistakes are found most easily on the printed page. I am much more meticulous about proofing the print edition if there is one, compared to the work I do on e-books alone. (For one thing, it's more difficult to fix the print edition, and in the case of Createspace it goes off sale while the corrections are being made.)
