I'm assuming that stands for Master Resale Rights.

My question is, how do any of you who sell those know that you actually have legitimate rights to resell such ebooks?

Just because you bought a package of ebooks from someone who said you did?

Because it occurs to me how very easy it is to just run around the internet, collecting articles from various sites, packaging them up as ebooks, slapping in a rights file, and then selling it to whomever will buy it.

Meaning, the content could belong to someone who has no clue that people are reselling it, which is copyright infringement and illegal distribution.

So how do you know that you have legit rights to be reselling those? I mean really know, beyond a shadow of a doubt?

Since no one has answered my question, I'm assuming there isn't a way to be certain.

Interesting.
